Home Based Agent Position

Functions:Home-based agents work from home and provide customer service for one of our clients.
Requisites:

- Excellent English, written and spoken
- Computer and Internet literacy
- Available to work full time from home including weekends and
  holidays
- The following IT requirements are mandatory for applying:

  • Processor: Intel Pentium III 900 MHz or equivalent
    Memory 256 MB RAM Hard Disk Space: 70 MB free
  • Operating System: Windows 2000 Windows XP Windows
    Vista Mac OS X 10.4 Linux (KDE 3.51 windows manager recommended)
  • Connection: IP network connection (Cable modem, ADSL)
    512 kbps (We recommend ICE ADSL connection)
  • Sound Adapter: Full-duplex, 16-bit
  • UPS: Standby type with at least 10 minutes backup time

Job Description:Transcribe English audio files into text files with a high level of speed, quality and accuracy to ensure compliance of client requirements. While consistently fulfilling company production rate requirements in an effort to maintain and support a team environment as well as individual performance.
Requisites:

- Superior command of the English language, written & listening skills
  mandatory
- Fast typing skill (45 wpm minimum)
- Basic knowledge of computer/word processing/email
- Ability to type while listening to an audio recording
- Ability to interpret English idioms with high level of competency
- Ability to work as an individual and within a team environment
- Detail oriented
- High accuracy level
- Dependable
- Flexibility with schedule
