Nutek Announces Expansion of Costa
Rica Call Center Facility.
LAS
VEGAS, Jul 16, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE)
-- Nutek, Inc. (NUTK) subsidiary
Datascension, a leading data
processing and market research firm,
announced today that it is expanding
its operations in Costa Rica by
adding an additional 100 seats to
its call center.
The company is currently evaluating
other international locations and
expects to announce the expansion to
an additional international location
within 45 days.
"This new international facility is
expected to open in October 2003
with 100 seats and a capacity for up
to 250 seats," said Murray Conradie,
Nutek CEO. "Our decision to expand
is based on the continued growth of
the Company, which completed its
sixth successive profitable quarter
in Q2, 2003."
"Our superior service and
state-of-the-art technology have
attracted major new clients and
additional business from existing
clients so we are quickly nearing
our current facility capacity," said
Scott Kincer, COO of Nutek and
president of Datascension. "In
addition to accommodating the growth
from our inbound call center and
data collection services, the new
and expanded facilities will allow
us to develop our database
management and reporting services,
which provide greater margins."
The Costa Rica expansion and the new
international facility will be
executed in several stages to
provide additional capacity as
Datascension needs it. Based on
current growth rates, Datascension
is on track to have approximately
1,000 seats in its call centers by
2005.
